lose stomach fat

Lose Stomach Fat

From Flab to Firm . . . Fast!

Are you ready for a no-nonsense, quick results approach to lose stomach fat that you desperately want to get rid of?

You are absolutely right to want to get rid of it. That extra belly fat can increase your risk for diabetes, heart disease, and some types of cancer. If you have been trying hard but are still having trouble losing that stomach fat, your answer most likely lies in the kind of exercise you are doing. If you are relying on the old-school regime of sit-ups or crunches, your frustration is only going to get worse. Change your workout now and you can have the tight and toned abs you desire before you shop for those new clothes.

First on the list of your no-nonsense plan is to forget only doing sit-ups and ab crunches. These exercises do not provide the resistance you need to rip those ab muscles into shape. A solid strength training workout involving the resistance of bands, a weighted ball, or weights is the perfect type of exercise to turn those soft abdominal muscles into a rock hard six-pack. But don’t stop there! That is a good start, but if you only do the strength training, you still won’t have the results you are looking for.

In order to better understand why strength training alone doesn’t work, you will need to view the problem in a different way. When your goal is a tight, sculpted waist, you actually have two completely separate areas to work on your abdominal muscles and your layer of belly fat. If you separate the two in your mind, it will help you to see why the strength training alone doesn’t do the job. It does build your muscles, but strength training does absolutely nothing to burn the layer of fat that is covering your muscles. Is the picture looking clearer now? You basically have a nice, little blanket of fat that is hiding your muscles from view.

According to The American College of Sports Medicine, the best way to shed that blanket of fat is by eating properly and through aerobic or cardio exercise that incorporates the basics of interval training. Sounds complicated, but interval training is really quite simple.

Interval training power packs your cardio workout by increasing the fat burning levels that your body normally experiences during a cardio session. Extra good news is that incorporating an interval workout into your cardio program won’t take any extra time. In fact, if your cardio normally takes 40 minutes to complete, you can even cut the workout down to 30 minutes and still enjoy superior results!

Interval training can be added to any form of cardio. The formula is easy. Incorporate short bursts of high intensity training to your regular level of cardio, and that’s it! Here’s an example. Let’s say you are riding a stationary bike and you usually do your entire workout at level 5 speed. Count that as your ‘standard pace.’ Start out with 8 minutes of cycling at your standard pace of level 5. Now add the short burst by cycling at level 8-10 (whatever you can handle) for perhaps 1 or 2 minutes. Once you experience the ‘burn’ switch back to level 5 for a resting or recovery stage of 8 more minutes. Keep going back and forth at these ‘intervals’ until your workout is complete. It’s not only easy, but will make the cardio less monotonous as well!

Now you have both training keys to your no-nonsense, six pack ab program! Start today and your perfectly sculpted waist can be one of the best presents you ever received!

lower belly fat

Lower Belly Fat

and How To Get Rid of It

Most adults in the world have some sort of lower belly fat that they would like to get rid of. Some have more than others, but it is essentially a “hot-button” topic for everyone. Some people try a mixture of programs and diets without any results. They usually just give up and go back to eating nachos on the couch. Surely there has to be a way to get rid of the spare tire and get the flat tummy of your dreams, right?

Actually there is. However, it’s not a magic pill or solution that will fix the problem overnight. So, what does it take to lose that stubborn belly fat? Let’s look at a few tips to get the body of your dreams.

1.Don’t waste your entire life on the treadmill.

This might sound like it goes against traditional thinking (and actually it does). However, this is one of the most important things you can realize. It’s not all about cardiovascular exercise when you’re trying to burn fat. Yes, it can help you burn fat and some people have had success with this method. However, the majority of people don’t have the willpower necessary to run for an hour or more every day for a long period of time. It’s hard and time consuming. Instead of jogging everyday, try getting involved in a sprinting workout. The short bursts of energy that you will use in sprinting will develop your muscles and burn a lot of calories. Think about when you watch the Olympics. Would you rather look like the ripped sprinter, or the frail, undefined marathon runner? Sprinting helps to develop muscle and burn lower belly fat faster than other forms of exercise.

2.    Hit the weights.

This doesn’t mean that you have to try to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger before he was the “Governator”. You can implement a strength weight training regimen that will tone and define your muscles. It will help to burn fat because your muscles will burn calories even when you’re resting. This increases your body’s effectiveness because it’s like you’re working out all the time.

3.    Put down the soda and donuts for breakfast.

While it may seem like a cliché, eating healthy food is paramount to getting rid of a fat belly. Fat tends to be stored first in your abdomen area. Therefore, if you’re always bringing in unhealthy calories and you’re not working them off, they’ll just build up around your stomach. This might sound like an obvious solution, but it will do wonders for your appearance.

4.    Find someone to keep you accountable.

When you go for something by yourself, the only thing keeping you from ending up back on the couch is your willpower. Sometimes, we don’t all have the necessary willpower to pull this off. This is why we could use someone to push us. Someone that knows your plan and can hold you accountable can really help get you through the tough times.

Regardless of what you decide to do to shed the pounds, I encourage you to stick with it. Many different workouts and plans will help, but the key is not giving up after two weeks. Hang in there, and the pounds will eventually come off.

2 critical eating tips for fast fat loss

2 Critical Eating Tips for Fast Fat Loss!

Although there may be many different steps you will need to take to be eating healthy foods and achieve your fat loss, some are more important than others.  If you focus on these critical tips first and as they are smaller steps you will be well on your way to losing some fat.  Not following these two steps could keep you from losing fat and even worse, they might actually increase your body fat!

Many of the fad diet plans out there are either incomplete or broken. If we follow these diets "as is", then we are sure to go in the wrong direction. For example, most diets would advice you to cut down heavily on your food intake. When you do that, you can gain fat instead of losing it! Plus you suffer from malnutrition and lack of energy! Studies have pointed out that women who eat 400 calories less than their stipulated calorie requirements tend to suffer from abdominal obesity; in simple words, they acquire fat bellies!

These two steps will help you achieve your fat loss goals quicker!

1. Focus on protein rather than carbs: While carbs are an important ingredient of any healthy meal plan, what you should focus on is protein, especially when you are trying to lose weight. Unlike carbs which give you short, sudden bursts of energy that last only for a short while, protein will keep you energetic for a longer time. With carbs, your body will receive more fat than energy; with protein, it is just the opposite.

Protein also helps you build strong lean muscle mass. Since lean muscles need a lot of energy to maintain themselves, your body has to burn your existing fat deposits in order to produce the extra energy. So that is another way protein can help you with fat loss!

2. Skipping breakfast is not the way to go: Skipping breakfast is something many people do when they want to lose some fat.  They tend to think that they will lose weight if they don't eat breakfast. Wrong! Actually, the opposite happens. When you don't eat breakfast, you are sending a signal to your body that there is a famine out there, and that to combat it, your body needs to store energy in the form of fat deposits.

When you starve, your body slows down your metabolism and stores fat instead of burning it! As you can see, skipping breakfast is of no use!

Breakfast is ideally there for one reason: to "break the fast"; that is, to offer your body with the first surge of energy for the day. When your body gets enough food, it produces lots of energy and your metabolic rate is automatically increased. When that happens, your body starts burning fat!

I encourage you to start by just taking these two steps and work them to fit into your lifestyle.  Not only will you be on your way to losing body fat, they will have become a natural habit that sticks with you.  Rather than a strict or fad diet that you can’t keep to after a short while.

how to lose belly fat for men

How To Lose Belly Fat For Men

As a guy, there’s a good chance that you’re developing a pot belly and want to know how to lose belly fat. Most of the population is getting a little chunky around the midsection. However, just because many people are doing it doesn’t make it look any better. You see those guys on the Bowflex commercials with a six-pack and it makes you yearn for the good old days. Back when you could take your shirt off at the beach and not be mistaken for a marine animal washed ashore. You want to look good again, but perhaps you have no idea where to start.

Should you buy one of those ab machines that you see on the late night infomercials? Should you start doing an inordinate amount of crunches at all hours of the day and night? Actually, this mentality is what kills some people’s plans before they even get started.

You see people with six-packs doing crunches or leg lifts or whatever else is designed to tone your core. You associate the six-pack with the exercise. However, this is a pretty far stretch from the truth. What they didn’t show you is the workout that these guys go through before they do the commercial. They didn’t show you what they eat every day before they did the commercial.

The real secret to getting that six-pack that you’ve always wanted is a healthy diet and doing the right exercises. What are the right exercises for burning fat? They might not be what you think. Most people believe that you should do hours and hours of cardio in order to get the results you seek. This won’t really give you the results that you want and you’ll probably get burnt out after a couple of workouts.

Weight training and short interval workouts are what you need to focus on. This will get rid of your gut faster than anything. Interval workouts are great because they work your muscles at 100% effort for short bursts. They then require a lot of energy to replenish themselves and therefore burn through the fat. In addition to that, they’re usually preferred by most people. I’d rather sprint at full speed for 30 seconds at a time than I would jog for an hour. Jogging is time consuming and requires a lot of dedication. With interval training, you do it and it’s over.

Using weights doesn’t have to be about bulking up for football season. It is actually a great way to get in shape for everyone. Your muscles will be worked which burns more fat than cardio ever could. In addition to that, it won’t exactly hurt your feelings if your muscles are a little more defined than they used to be, will it?

You can lose belly fat and you can do it relatively quickly. As a man, you’ll probably start to notice results pretty quick. You might not have the six-pack by next week, but you’ll be a lot better off than you were. Just stick with your workout and the pounds will fly off.
