How To Lose Belly Fat For Women

Knowing how to lose belly fat  and doing it effectively is a critical first step as many woman find it difficult to lose the fat from their belly area.  You may be stuck with some unsightly belly fat after having children.  Your lifestyle changed and therefore your body changed right along with it. However, it doesn’t have to be the way you live the rest of your life. Ever see a woman on TV in a bikini and you get jealous? You wish that you could still look like that on the beach. Well, the truth is that you can if you’re willing to put in the work.

You have undoubtedly tried some fad diets or diet pills along the way. The companies that come up with these products prey on your desire to lose weight quickly. Although they promise a lot of results, they often don’t deliver any.  Even if you do lose some weight with them initially, you’ll be right back in the same boat when you’re done with the diet. Your weight will come back quickly and more stubborn than ever.

The only true way to lose weight and keep it off is through healthy eating and exercise. You have to combine a healthy and nutritious diet with the proper workouts. So, what are the proper exercises to lose belly fat and keep it off? Many people believe that you have to get on the exercise bike or the treadmill for two hours per day in order to do any good. Is this really the most effective method?

Actually, the best thing to do to get rid of the fat is weight and interval training. Most women stay clear of weights because they don’t want to look like those female body builders on ESPN2. However, weight lifting doesn’t have to mean bulking up. You can tone the muscles and improve your overall physique. What good does weight training do for you?

When you do cardio exercise, you are doing something beneficial for your body. You’re working out your cardiovascular system, which is good for you. However, it doesn’t burn fat that fast. When you work out with weights and interval training, your muscles are worked extensively. This means that you’ll be burning calories when you workout and even when you’re resting. If you can burn calories when you’re not working out, think how much quicker you’ll get to where you want to be. In addition to that, you can work on those curves with the weight training exercises that you engage in.

There are many weight training classes specifically designed for women. You don’t have to do the same workout that the football guys in the gym are doing. There are specific exercises that are designed for women and ones that can be done from the comfort of your own home.  Interval exercises like sprints or explosive activities are also great for burning fat. You’re giving 100% effort for a short amount of time instead of giving half effort over a long period of time. This really works the muscles and burns through your fat at lightning speed.

When you embark on this journey, don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t happen right away. Historically it takes women a little longer to lose belly fat. Just know that it can be done if you stick with it.
